ABOUT

 

OVIDIUS was founded after more than a decade working with the best athletes, in the worlds leading sporting competitions.
It was realised that the best practices and training methods, and greatest level of care and attention, was only ever reserved for professional athletes. 

 

We know that if to become the best in a chosen sport, talent isnt enough. Theres a need to be athletic, strong, fast, explosive and robust, in order to meet the physical demands of the sport. And like any skill, they can be developed and coached. And when combined with talent, it will give any athlete the best chance of success. 

So its our belief that the same training and support services available to professional athletes should also be  made available to the next generation of elite athletes. 

 

WHAT WE DO

We provide athletic development for all ages, all abilities, and all levels of sport. We also provide injury management and rehabilitation services, applying the same methodology, knowledge and level of care afforded to athletes in a professional sport setting. 

​

Our programs are individualised, targeted and specific to each person and their goals. Our programs are holistic, meaning that we cover all aspects of physical competency, including prehabilitation and injury prevention, strength and conditioning, speed development, and skill acquisition, and recovery.

 

HOW WE DO IT

We employ a multi-discipline approach to deliver structured programs to target the specific needs of each individual. 

​Our programs are delivered by accredited health professionals, and focus on movement and strength, and through a combination of corrective exercises, targeted strength and conditioning training, and on field application, aim to enhance ability and capacity, and promote longevity in performance.
